Glazing Options
Clear and Non-Reflective Gallery Glass
Our standard glazing options are 2mm thick clear or non-reflective gallery grade glass . They are basically the same quality glass but the non-reflective has been etched with acid to take the reflective shine off it. This process makes this option a little more expensive than the clear glass, but can have big benefits if you are hanging your frame in a light space or opposite a window for instance.
Specialist and UV Control
'Glass is Glass' right? ...WRONG!
We stock a range of specialist glass ...some almost invisible in the finished frame! Others have a UV control filter built in to protect your artwork from light damage and fading. Ask to see the difference when you call in to see us...you'll be amazed!

Maybe you want to hang a picture in a child's room, or in a public area and are worried about damage or broken glass?
That's where Acrylic and Perspex glazing comes in. We offer standard shatterproof acrylic glazing which we keep in stock, but also specialist crystal clear and UV protection grade plastics by special order.
